Job Type:  Part-time / 8-16 hours per week with ability to move to full-time

Pay Range: $55 - $75 per hour

Position Summary

OneStop Medical Center is hiring a Licensed Behavioral Therapist to join our Integrated Behavioral Health Team. This role provides evidence-based psychotherapy and behavioral interventions to patients receiving primary care, working closely with physicians and nurse practitioners to address stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, and health-related behavior challenges.

 

Key Responsibilities

1.  Provide individual, couples, and/or group psychotherapy using evidence-based approaches
2. Conduct biopsychosocial assessments, diagnose mental health conditions, and develop treatment plans
3.  Deliver brief, goal-oriented therapy sessions (30–45 minutes) integrated with medical care
4. Manage crises using crisis intervention techniques to ensure patient safety
5. Collaborate with primary care providers and nurse practitioners to coordinate patient care
6. Support patients with:
7. Stress, burnout, and anxiety
8. Depression and mood disorders
9. Trauma and adjustment issues
10. Chronic illness coping
11.  Provide referrals to specialty or higher-level care when needed
12. Maintain accurate, HIPAA-compliant documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
13. Participate in team meetings and care coordination

 

Qualifications

1. Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field
2. Active California license as one of the following:
3. LCSW – Licensed Clinical Social Worker
4.  LMFT – Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist
5. LPCC – Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor
6. Minimum 2 years of post-licensure experience preferred
7. Experience in integrated care, medical settings, or private practice preferred
8. Strong training in CBT, Motivational Interviewing, trauma-informed care, or solution-focused therapy
9. Experience treating stress, anxiety, depression, and chronic medical condition-related distress
10. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative healthcare environment
11. Proficiency with EHR systems and clinical documentation
12. Bilingual (English/Spanish/Hindi or other languages) a plus
