Job description:

Bookkeeping /Accounting Clerk - Bilingual (Gujarati/Hindi)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeping/ Accounting Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting day-to-day accounting operations.

Responsibilities

• Record financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting records
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Maintain organized records and documentation
• Support the accounting team with administrative tasks and other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to handle confidential financial information responsibly
• Strong communication skills in both English and Gujarati
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• 1–2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience required
• Recent graduates are encouraged to apply

Preferred Skills

• Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
• Basic knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
• Comfortable using a 10-key calculator and standard office equipment
